Nationally Recognised and accredited training verses professional development
Each short course will include information in the description stating whether a course is Nationally Recognised or not. What’s the difference? A Nationally Recognised or accredited course means you will be completing a module which has been endrosed by the National training regulator and must be trained and assessed in line with an agreed set of standards. On completion you will receive a nationally recognised certificate or Statement of Attainment. These are often required where there are mandatory or minimum training requirements in an industry.
Professional Development courses are a great way to boost your skills and knowledge in a particular subject area. The emphasis is on teaching with minimal assessment requirements. They are designed to be completed quickly. They look great in your resume! On completion you will receive a Certificate of Completion.
