If you have previous study or experience in Carpentry (or in a related field such as Construction) you may qualify for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Discounts may apply for Credits and RPLs. If you would like us to provide an estimate of the units you would be likely to receive Credit or RPL for please forward copies of all previous qualifications you have completed (listing units completed) and an overview of your experience (or a resume). From there we can provide a proposed course outline and quote.
- If you are completing this course as part of an apprenticeship you must be signed up to a School based carpentry apprenticeship through an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (such as MRAEL or MEGT).
- Generally, we accept students from South East Queensland locations – please contact us to confirm if we service your area.
- It is an expectation that you will have access to a computer/device and the internet.
- Students must meet minimum Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills.
- Participants must own or have access to all safety equipment required of the job role, including steel cap boots, hard hat, safety glasses, ear muffs, face mask/respirator, high vis vest, etc.
- Please discuss with Adapt any entry requirement issues as strategies can be put in place to assist.
