The Certificate 4 in Business is suitable for those with existing business skills and a general knowledge of administrative systems and processes. This qualification focuses on developing solutions for more complex tasks within a business. Course Outcomes

On successful completion of all course requirements you will be issued a Nationally Recognised BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business

Duration

In most instances you will have up to 2 years to complete this qualification. Being self-paced study you can enrol at any time and progress at any speed you like without the stress of due dates and rigid class time tables. Study duration depends on the hours you put in and your skill level. As a guide, someone dedicating 8 hours per week to study, could expect to complete the assessment component of the course in 6 – 8 months.

Learning and Assessment

Each course module consists of two key components:

  • Learning: tutorial videos, readings and activities
  • Assessment: quizzes, written questions, case studies, projects, and role plays.

  • This qualification is approved for Commonwealth Incentive traineeship funding for eligible candidates.
    This course is Centrelink approved and you may be eligible to receive the education supplement and the education entry payment.

Payment plans are offered at no additional cost! That’s right, you DO NOT pay more if you opt for a payment plan. No Interest, account, or administration fees. You nominate the payment periods (i.e. weekly, fortnightly or monthly). You nominate the amount you are comfortable paying (i.e. $50, $100, $200, etc.). Payment plans are processed with a direct debit system.

If you have previous study or experience in Business you may qualify for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Discounts may apply for Credits and RPLs. If you would like us to provide an estimate of the units you would be likely to receive Credit or RPL for please forward copies of all previous qualifications you have completed (listing units completed) and an overview of your experience (or a resume). From there we can provide a proposed course outline and quote.

  • You will have access to a computer and the internet to complete the assessment requirements of the course. Please discuss with Adapt if this is an issue as strategies can be put in place to assist.
  • All students will complete a Language Literacy Numeracy and Digital Skills (LLND) test and a phone interview to confirm suitability for this course.
